Wanda Cohen: I've read Clive Cussler's
novels for close to twenty years. This is one of his best.
His main character, Dirk Pitt, is a creation of beauty and audacious
imagination. Dirk is tall, dark and handsome with brainy wit and enough quirky
eccentricities and manly man hobbies to make him interesting to both men and women.
This time he finds himself in the middle of the Northwest Passage looking
for missing ships carrying a mineral that might be the answer to reversing Global Warming.
Of course others have discovered the research and are racing to find and take control of
the same treasure and they don't care if they start WW III to get it.This book is filled
with breathtaking suspense and action and even a bit of romance. I highly recommend it.
