Judy Stanton: If you've read "Tipping Point,"
then "Blink" will seem familiar. Malcolm Gladwell's style is to pick
several intersting studies and put together a string of anecdotes to
prove his point. The theory is that we all make snap judgements, quick
decisions, ang get split-second insights into situations. Sometimes
they are on-arget; other times, they are dead wrong. "Blink" is
interesting and a quick read. I am skeptical by nature, so I can't
help but question whether for every positive example, a negative one
couldn't be found. Worth reading.
