in her own words, takes us through her early life as a Harvard
grad and successful career woman who harbors the awful secret
that her dream man is dangerously abusive toward her. Her style
of writing grips the reader as tightly as her abuser's hands on
her delicate throat. Through her eyes we come to understand how
she responded to her husband with both love and terror. I've
never read the ending of a book first, but i needed to know
that there was a postiive outcome. This is a must-read for
all women who would never imagine themselves entangled in a
crazy love.
