Faith Bowers (08/11/12): Mark Greenside, part time college
professor ended up in Northern France one summer with a girlfriend who could speak French.
He did not speak French and thus embarks a funny tale. This is his story of falling in love
with the area and purchasing a very old home. He becomes a better person as he learns how to
navigate the different culture. He describes his experiences of each part of owning his home
and some of the special days he had over the years. It is a very funny memoir and I laughed with
each chapter.
