Sycamore Row

Sycamore Row

by John Grisham

Laura Hall (05/28/14): Being one to get lost in the political and law system, this book was easy to follow and kept me on my toes seeing how the judicial system can bring forth the right answer, but also the importance of how jurors must understand the reason for the trial and what the question they are to answer is without getting caught up in details. Grisham also brings out the aspect of race which was dealt with in the south, especially in this Mississippi town in the book. It also brings the hope and seeing the need for an outcome to not live in the past and how to overcome it instead. Pain, hurt, lies, and friendship all take you through the trial that will never be forgotten.
